Carbon Fiber Reinforced PC-PBT. Engineering Performance. Prototype-Ready Format.
Push Plastic Carbon Fiber PC-PBT takes the already-impressive mechanical profile of PC-PBT and pushes it further with a proprietary carbon fiber reinforcement blend. The result is a stiffer, more dimensionally stable material that prints with the clean, matte surface finish characteristic of carbon fiber filaments — and performs like it in the hands.
The 500g spool is the right entry point. Whether you're evaluating CF PC-PBT before committing to a bulk production run, printing a smaller structural component, or prototyping a design that demands carbon fiber performance without the volume of a 10kg spool, the 500g format gives you full access to the material at a practical scale.
What Carbon Fiber Reinforcement Adds:
- Increased Stiffness — carbon fiber raises the rigidity of an already stiff PC-PBT matrix, producing parts that resist flex and deformation under load
- Improved Dimensional Stability — reduced warping and shrinkage compared to unreinforced PC-PBT, delivering accurate, repeatable prints even on detailed or precision components
- Professional Surface Finish — the smooth, matte appearance typical of carbon fiber filaments — functional and aesthetically suited to professional and industrial applications
- Consistent Performance — engineered proprietary CF blend for uniform fiber distribution and reliable extrusion behavior across every spool
Important: Hardened Steel Nozzle Required. Carbon fiber is abrasive. A standard brass nozzle will wear rapidly when printing CF PC-PBT. A hardened steel nozzle of 0.4mm or larger is required — 0.6mm is recommended for optimal flow and fiber distribution. Do not print this material with a brass nozzle.
Built for engineers and makers running demanding applications — perfect for:
- Functional prototypes requiring structural rigidity and dimensional accuracy
- Mechanical and load-bearing parts where standard filaments lack the stiffness required
- Jigs, fixtures, and tooling for production and workshop environments
- High-strength precision components in automotive, robotics, and aerospace-adjacent applications
- Evaluating CF PC-PBT performance before scaling to bulk 10kg production spools
- Any application where a clean, matte carbon fiber surface finish is part of the brief
Printer Compatibility: Compatible with most 1.75mm FDM 3D printers capable of engineering-grade temperatures. Hardened steel nozzle required. Enclosure recommended.
